Csomor

It is a quite nice suburb in Budapest, in reality it is a village even if it has around 10,000 inhabitants (exact number is 9678 from 2019). It has a quite nice natural surrounding, including forests, a spring goes through the settlement and a 4 hectare lake as well near the village.

This summer there is a little water in the spring. The spring goes around the village near the houses. There is a 27 hectare nature reserve area at the valley of the spring. The spring is 34 km long and starts at the East part of the settlement after crosses the residential area.

There are several nice playground there some of them in very nice natural area for example this one next to the Spring under huge trees at the border of the village.
There is a nice path next to the spring in the forest where can walk or ride on a bicycle. We can check our location on a map as well.

The settlement has no drive through traffic, which makes it quite liveable. There are enough shops there for food, vegetables, or gardening.

Csomor lake

The lake area is 4,6 hectare and the lake is 4,6m deep. This year the drought changed the water level drastically. Even a new island has formed.
The lake is very popular among fishermen and among families as well. There is a playground next to it as well. There is a lot of places for parking, in natural surrounding. One side of the lake is fully accessible with cars.
