Hajduszoboszlo
Hajduszoboszlo is a top tourist target in Hungary. The huge spa complex is a main attraction here. Hajduszoboszlo is a middle / smaller sized city in East Hungary, near the Hortobagy plain and Hungary’s second biggest city, Debrecen. The city is situated in the Great Plain, which is the Eastern / Southern part of Hungary.

The bath complex here claimed the biggest in Europe. There are separate parts of this bath complex. There is an open air bath, a thermal/medical bath, an adventure bath, and several separate hotels nearby with similar services like slides, thermal pools. the open air bath is mainly function in summer at a huge area. It depends on how many visitor are there in the facility. The adventure bath, the medical bath are open in the whole year.

What to do in Hajduszoboszlo
Apart from the bath complex there is a fishing lake here. It is also possible to rent different vehicles for fun.
Debrecen the second biggest city in Hungary is also not very far from Hajduszoboszlo. Although it is second biggest city in Hungary, it is not a huge city, it has about 210,000 inhabitants. Debrecen is a university city, the main event here is the Flower Carnival at August. They decorate several wagons with millions of flowers, and riding on them in main streets of the city. There is also a zoo here and a bath as well in the “Big forest” part of the city. There is newly built open air soccer arena there as well. The Main square of Debrecen is also very nice with a huge Calvinist Temple.
For nature lovers the huge 80,000 hectare Hortobagy area can be interesting. This huge plain area is very quiet. The visitor center can be found in the settlement also called Hortobagy. There is a National Park visitor center there, a pastoral museum, a Unique Bird Hospital, the Wildlife Park, a Traditional Fair, in the small settlement. The main attractions there is the famous nine hole bridge and the fishing Lakes. A small railway goes around the border of the Lakes, where many birdwatching towers can be found. Birders usually go to the end station with the small train after return on foot. Lots of bird species has been recognized there around 240 if I remember well. In Autumn huge number (50-100,000) of cranes spend the time on the Lakes.
